Connecting With Veterans
Connecting to military members can be a challenging thing unless you search through the various profiles in myspace or facebook. Today’s internet provides many ways to reach this specific group of people. A new way to connect with old service friends is through a military forum. This is so specific that mostly military members only will be there chatting it up. Some veterans that are hanging out with friends are doing it in niche collecting fields. Some of these men and women collect things like challenge coins and patches. This is a great way to not only meet others but remain active to your service.
There are many challenge coin collecting groups available on the net where people connect through trade and memories. Let’s face it; it is cheaper to chat than to travel. At the end of the day you might want an award for some great coins you made, found, or just recommend. Challenge coin awards can be awesome to recieve for just doing what you enjoy doing…collecting. Even if you’re just into researching military information there is still great sources of information out there on the web. The military encyclopedia is a vast resource that holds the potential to host tens of thousands of articles of information for all people to enjoy. No matter how you decide to be involved, it should be out of want and not just need. We need everyone out there to contribute to the morale and welfare of our soldiers.
